DarkHorse was voted #1 in the Sierra Nevadas, by the Western Golf Alliance.
Reviewer's Quotes:
"DarkHorse is definitely the best course near Sacramento. Personally, I'd put it up against any course in California, and at the price it would easily beat them all."
"The 18th hole might be the single best hole I've played in years. The risk/reward of the favorable yardage combined with a dangerous approach is always a wonderful way to end the round."
"DarkHorse is unique because it 'feels' like many different styles of golf rolled into one. Some holes feel like links golf, some like woodland, and others have everything in between."
Testimonials:
"Darkhorse is just a great golf course and a lot of fun to play. Bring your "A" game to Darkhorse as it is a challenging layout"

NCGA Course Rater
Hello,
I played Darkhorse today for the first time and I absolutely loved it! The scenery is spectacular and so typical of the Sierra Foothills. I live in Reno, and there is nothing that comes close to this course. I found it to be extremely challenging, yet gratifying. The staff were all very professional and extremely polite and helpful.
Thank you for running such a nice golf club that is affordable to the working professional! I will return again.
-Sincerely,
Sandra M.
